Starting Over

Well, the night I started this I had every intention to getting back into blogging. I cant believe its been over a year already. I'm guess I'll give a year in review, then this week get back to why I started this thing.

 

Year in review:

 

* moved into a house with the love of my life

* adopted a puppy named Winston

* got ENGAGED!!!

* started planning our wedding

 

As it stands now, we are a little less than 6 months away from #becomingthelarsons

The wedding planning process has gone pretty smoothly and we are still exploring this amazing city we have decided to call home!

Now that there's a brief update, I will dive into our weekend explorations in my next post!

The beginning

So I decided to start writing again. I wont go into all the details, but I have blogged once before. I suddenly got the itch to do it again, so here goes nothing!

 

The details of the past few months aren't as important as where I am, so I'm going to dive right in. I just moved from Florida to Charleston, SC. The reasons you ask...to be honest love. I'm starting a new chapter in my life with someone and long distance for a year wasn't cutting it. So here I sit in a new city, with no friends, a brand new job, and this boy I'm in love with...crazy right?!

 

Anyone that knows me knows this was the most spontaneous thing I've ever done. I'm a planner who doesn't like change, and this was the biggest change yet. I sold my home that I built only 2 years ago, left my job of 4 years, left my family and picked up and moved. As hectic as it sounds I'm excited. I'm excited for a new job to learn new things; I'm excited for new adventures; and I'm excited for the unknown. I'm hoping this blog will serve as my outlet when I'm lonely and my posting of all the adventures to come!
